Introducing the Reborn Lanugo, the perfect addition to your reborn doll art collection. Made with micro fibers of less than 1mm per fibre, this lanugo gives the appearance of the fine, soft hair that covers newborn babies. Apply it to your reborn using your favorite medium and watch as the doll transforms into a lifelike newborn with the addition of this realistic lanugo. Although the weights of this product appear light, you receive a lot of product volume for the weight. It is very economical.

This product comes tightly packed and gives the appearance of small balls. This is how the product is manufactured. To use, take a small amount of fibre and place on a palette or clean dry tile/saucer and gently tap the ball with a dry brush. You should see the fibre start to break apart. Using your brush apply to the pre-prepared areas (damp) as desired. Leave to dry.
5g small pot should be enough to do 3+ (depending on user)
7g should be enough to do 4-5+dolls
Most artists will find the 5g pot enough to meet their needs unless you are completing lots of dolls at once.

Mott & Gido Reborn Lanugo
Heat Set : Apply a thin layer of thinning or matt/dewy medium to the area where you wish to apply the lanugo effect. Using a dry brush, pick up a few of the fibres and lightly tap into the desired area. Bake as per paint instructions.
Air Dry: Apply your chosen medium - matte or satin varnish to your chosen area. Using a dry brush and working quickly, lightly dab the lanugo fibre to the area you wish. Allow to dry. Fibres can be removed while the medium is still wet.
